To mark the public release of Ireland's 1926 Census, the National Archives of Ireland wanted to bring history to life through the voices of those who had lived it.
THINKHOUSE developed and produced a documentary featuring four remarkable Irish centenarians whose memories span a century of extraordinary social, cultural and political change. Premiering at Dublin Castle to coincide with the launch of the Census, the film captures personal stories that transform historical records into living history, reminding audiences that behind every census entry is a human story worth preserving.
